This is an easy to use, professional and aesthetically pleasing CPD form for you to fill in. All schools and colleges specify that you take part in staff development and that you prove it. Many establishments state you should do 32 hours of CPD. No need to add up the hours yourself this form adds it up for you. Just keep this saved and add to it when you need to, print or email when needed. Looks great in a Record of Achievement folder when on a job interview.
This is a workbook on the topic of CV writing I have used many times. Print or give access to each learner. The booklet gives explanations as well as activities to do to help complete a CV. There is a good CV layout to use as reference. Additionally, there is an extra handout on helpful websites to view jobs or to access more help on completing a CV.
This is a specially produced portfolio for learners to print out and gather a range of work related items. Work they are to work on includes CVs, work experience and interview questions and answers. The document explains the reason behind WRL and even includes a marking policy and British values. This has been produced after reading the guidelines on what tutors/ establishments should expect for WRL.
This is a booklet for learners to fill in on the topic of Second Fix. This is ideal to cover the whole topic in instalments, in one go or as a revision activity. The booklet suits both Cskills and City & Guilds versions of the Second fix topic. The booklet is 13 pages long and can be added to a moodle or google drive type learning environment or printed out.
By completing the booklet learners should be able to state how to install doors and ironmongery, know how to fix mouldings,
know how to install service encasements and cladding and state how to install kitchen units, worktops and fitments.
I have used this booklet many times and learners seem to enjoy the scenario and the change from the usual activities I give.
This is a perfect session for any vocational learners that need to know about roof types and parts. This session is based on City & Guilds and CSkills construction qualifications such as L1 or L2 Principles of building. Also this is a great first session on the roofing unit for Site Carpentry.
This session is embedded with maths, English, health and safety and relates back to industry.
